Kicker Sub and the cargo net???

Question for thos with the Kicker sub. What the heck did you do with the cargo net? I want to use it and would like to know if anyone was successful in doing so...it is just sitting in a wad in my trunk while the rest of the contents just roll all over the place.

I don’t use the cargo net, but here are a few posts that may lead you to what you want to know.

without spending the time to look up each one of the posts that srtdanno so kindly linked for you...

basically - you pull out the sub...
attach the cargo net to the hook...
put the sub back in...
and then use the net when needed...

now you can put the net back tucked nicely behind the sub and pull it out when needed...

Is that what the search thingy gets you on the top bar? Thanks danno. I will install this tomorrow. Probably go with the zip tie method. I love zip ties...use them on more things than i probably should! Duct tape and zip ties and you can do just about anything.

Here I was thinking all this sage advice was gratis! I will have to continue to educate myself so I can in turn charge other newbies. I am seeing a whole 300C edumacation pyramid scheme! We can work in paypal somehow. I vote myself as treasurer. Who is with me?!?!?!

I like the way you think……we’ll start filming the infomercial later this morning…say around 3-4 AM. Since it was your idea you get to go first. Smile for the camera and don’t forget to plug the free 800 number where they can leave all their money.

Hope no one minds - crossposting from general C300 forum since this is really specific to SRT8, I guess:

There were apparently some images in a thread on the C300 forum that showed how to use the net but they aren't there now, I guess.

I only found one white plastic mount on the right side of the interior trunk floor, and another behind the kicker (when loosened/removed). Where do the other two hooks go?

Thanks in advance.

You’re on…………ready for your close up? Now remember to look sincere and honest as you pitch the product. If necessary talk about the innocent children who have gotten tangled in the evil cargo nets and how you’re just out to protect them. I think you’ve got quite a future ahead of you!
