Slots are slots

The only purpose of the slots is to let out any gases from underneath the pads. It doesn't matter which way the slots go, other than looks. I am just glad they slotted them.
I'll be seeing my dealer this week.

True in the case of a non-directional rotor whose internal vanes go straight out from the center. But if the rotor is directional, with curved vanes for improved airflow, the slots should be cut in the opposite direction to the vanes, so as not to weaken the rotor.

The SRT8 stock rotors do not have curved vanes, so these slots are fine.

Yes that is great news as I was worried all weekend long after you first posted CB that the ones my dealer just ordered were nothing but crap.

well based on Dr. Z's explanation - it oes sound like the design is...
but that the rotors are and will be fine...
