Here's One For Ya' - How To Remove Fuel Hose Fitting Off Fuel Rail?

Does anyone know how you can remove the fuel line off of the stock fuel rail? That is the fitting that snaps on the rail nipple. It's also the same fitting on the main fuel tube near the back of the engine.

Thanks in advance.

Go to your local auto parts store..... they sell a plastic "quick disconnect" kit for fuel lines..... It will do the trick.
I'll go take a pic and post shortly....

Just trying to help out. The correct disconnect is 3/8"...... it takes a little bit of "wiggling" to get it around the fuel line, as the main rail does not have much clearance.

Is this the same size for the main line coming off the tube by the back of the engine? How much did you pay for the kit?

Thanks a lot Bo!

The same 3/8" fitting will work for both. As for price of the kit..... I've had it for over a decade.... so I have no idea.
...I just searched eBay for "quick disconnect fuel line".... there are kits under 10.00 including shipping with a buy it now price......
I'm guessing under 20 bucks at your local auto parts store....

PM sent.....
