Pulling the #11 fuse explained.

OK, I have read it should be done once the engine is to operating temperature.
And you leave it out for at least 15 seconds.

BUT do you pull the fuse with the car off, engine off or engine off but electronics on?

Over the weekend I took the car on a couple hundred mile drive and used cruise control a lot.
It now seems like it has been trained to drive like a sensible car…

Just pull the fuse when ever you want. I've been known to pop the hood at a long light, pull the fuse and leave some rubber from the light.

smart car

the car pays attention to your driving and adapts the throttle response to suit you.

Pulling this fuse simply re-starts the process from square one.

It will also clear any codes for a little while. If your getting a CEL after a long tube header install you'll notice the light will be out after you pull the fuse.

But for clarification, you pull the fuse when the car is OFF, right?
