Good info Harrysam, here's what I can add to it:
Allocation on the '05s is done. Mine got picked up by the factory today. Well, I'll call it mine until we sell it (a guy can dream, ya know). 2005 SRT-8s will be built in FEBRUARY.
Your months are off a bit as far as the factory schedule. Factory will be shut down in March (and possibly early April). The factory will start making the following vehicles according to the following schedule:
- RWD Magnum and 300 models: March 29th
- AWD Magnum and 300 models: May 16th (tentative)
- Chrysler SRT8: April 18th (tentative)
- Magnum SRT8: May 16th (tentative)
- Charger: April 5th
As far a pricing policy goes, dealers won't be motivated to move the SRT-8 until allocation for the '06. As long as the '05 (if they have one) is gone before '06 allocation is calculated, they're in the clear. The SRT-8 will sell more quickly than that, and most dealers don't really pay attention to, or understand, the process, so don't be expecting deals on the '05s.

I hope thats correct

I would love to get my '05 SRT-8 feb/mar. I can only hope for the best. But it would be nice to have it at the track for spring.

Great info, guys. I think we are going to be a bit back on the list right now, but I think we may still slip one in the garage before years end!

If this is the case, I wouldn't expect to get the SRT until late summer early fall.
