Very true. I think that's just about the today equivalent to the GT-500 Shelby back in 1967. Now I am by no means comparing the 300c SRT-8 to a GT-500 Shelby...

You got a loaded C for $35K, MSRP on a fully loaded C is almost $39K.... Good Job, here in Dallas there is not a single dealer that will sell less than MSRP on the C. I got mine back in May and did the research.

I see the srt as somewhat of a bargain.

over the 300c, it has
20 inch wheels and tires (worth ~3000)
small body kit/cladding~500
lowered suspension~500-1000?
unique seats~500?
unique dual exhaust~300-500?
brake upgrade ~1000-2000
those few mods alone are worth perhaps 6000 dollars and are covered under the factory warranty
425 horse power~2000-6000 maybe with a supercharger, if one was even available
this car seems like an absolute steal to me

Same here Aspendog. Not a single dealer will go below MSRP on the C here as well. My fully loaded C was around 38 and some change + taxes.

Agree with drdave on the bargain perspective which is why I'm looking to go to an srt-8 instead of a 300c AWD. Reality is I'll have to upgrade the AWD tires to 20s and also lower it to get rid of the huge wheel gap. Close to $4,000 right there. With the srt you already get the best combo of 20s and tires plus upgraded brakes, suspension and chassis. Real question is will dealer desires for a quick profit lead to buyer frustration and an inability to get the srt-8 at any reasonable cost anytime soon.

I agree it's a bargin for the equipment, it's just over that 40K threshold I personally don't wanna go. I got my 300C for around 36K. Sticker was 38,655 (skipped on Walnut wood, smoker and cold weather groups). They dealt a little since it was an order. Anything on the lot was going for sticker. They got burned bad on adding Adjusted Market Value to Crossfires.

Unhappy Confirmed order???

Confirmed order?? I've called 5 dealers in LA and they have no information on even how to order one. They seemed to think that they MAY get an allocation but that is at the discretion of Chrysler headquarters. Can you give me more details on how you got the order in? I can't even find anyone to put me on a waiting list!!!
