It appears to also be "dechromed"...I'm not seeing the two horizontal bands of chrome below the headlights?

also the sides don't appear to have the chrome horizontal rub strip the 300c's have

Don't forget that it also has the dark colored rugs, just like the european versions of the 300c can get.

There is no chrome on the SRT 8 at all, except for the chrome trim around the grill. Essentially a monochromatic paint scheme, just like the old Lincoln Lsc's.

I will be painting the..

Grill and grill trim Brilliant Black. Also will be having the taillights smoked medium black. To have my navigator "de-chromed" and painted mono cost me upwards of $1500. So the factory doing it for me was a nice cost savings. I will be be tinting 27% all around. I will be removing the wings on the back and the holes filled and painted. Though I may look at their placement and add an LED to the holes for a little custom touch and cost savings. Or add a custom emblem. I had removed a badge on my Navi and used the holes to mount a custom small chrome skull with LED eyes that was fun for a few months. But I want this thing to be black on black on black. If I happen apon a cheap set of the stock 20's on Ebay I would send it off to be painted for yet that last touch. Now try and Laser Tag me you revenue generating breakfast side

I've got some nice Chrysler shots of a black SRT-8, but I'm not forum-savy enough to post pics. What do I type after clicking the "insert image" icon?

Black Srt-8

Man the black srt-8 blows away the sad looking silver one!!! The only thing is,I thought the grill was supposed to be body colored, which would be black, what's the deal?I think I read somewhere on the allpar forum that the basic 300c chrome grill could be ordered as a option!! I just thought the black srt-8 would have a black grill, like chrysler is claiming!!! Anybody know what the deal is?!!

Ya.. no kidding! I mean.. I was really excited to get that 'bentley' style grille until I heard that the SRT-8 grille will be colour matched... and to black, that would have looked INSANE!! Now I definatly need to get that E&G one.. oh well.
