I had placed a down payment with my dealer last Saturday; he just called me to confirm the base price of 49,995. He also said they do not know the color or options on the vehicle they receive. He explained that each dealer will receive one vehicle for the show room, by the end of this month he will receive full details as to which SRT will be allocated to his dealership.
On a side note if you own a leased Chrysler vehicle you can break the lease for a new SRT with no penalties.

Hey Playdo where are you located? I called around here in Vancouver and no dealer has pricing and 2 of them told me that the car won't be around until spring/summer. One dealer told me the price will be $60,000+! And lease break sounds very tempting if the price is around $50,000.
SRT-8 will have a base price of $ 49995 CDN ???.......and that price means fully loaded ?.....i would think there are no options for the SRT-8....it will be loaded.....however a fully loaded 300C such as mine hs a MSRP of $ 49685 CDN......only $ 310 more for a SRT-8 ???......i have to call my dealer tommorrow.....
I dont think they come fully loaded.. I called my Chrysler inside guy and put an SRT on order... he asked me if I wanted anything added.. and I only declined because I dont want to wait too long.. I just want the car. But there is no way that this car can be 300 bucks more than a loaded 300C.. There is probably no Navigation... but i will tell you one thing.. there better be some of those pretty ass HID's up front.. or I will be piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed!
yes that is correct but if you add in options such as protection group II,walnut wood trim, navi, and sunroof you get to the $ 49k level.....again the SRT-8 will be loaded.....anyone else out there confirm it's base price ??
Base MSRP is without options - see www.daimlerchrysler.ca website: any car: build and price section for an example.
Assuming the $49,995 Canadian base MSRP is correct
Then add nav: currently $2895 sunroof: $1050, protection group $850 and other options for a full load. then add delivery: $1200, A/C exicise tax $100, and sales taxes: GST & PST @ 10% (BC luxury car tax because price is above $47,000) and your out the door price is about $65,000 Can. Then deduct any discount you are able negociate -good luck.

Yes you can break your lease but only if it expires sometime this year!!!!

No free lunch eh?
Clear now?
Wow, I'm glad I bought my car last April or at least ordered it at that time, because my car came with an MSRP of 45,900 and I paid 41,500 but without the Nav, and GST of 7% on top. I think I got a good deal.
