Driving the SRT-8 in Snowy Seattle

I don't know how many Srt-8 owners drive their cars in all weather conditions, but I know I was pleasantly surprised this week. Before this car, the only vehicles I drove in the winter were AWD SUVs and trucks. When I bought my 300 SRT-8, the salesman gave me a speech about how great it did in winter weather. I thought he was full of B.S., but I am here to say I was dead wrong. This car is worth every dollar I paid for it, I was passing 4x4s and FWDs going up icy hills and even passing a few MBs. I do have the RSAs, so I'm sure that helped a bit. I hope all the other owners in the area fared as well as I did.

Later all,

Ryan

Glad to read you’re doing well with the winter time driving. When I read your post it reminded me of a couple of posts from JMatt awhile back where he was discussing winter time driving with his SRT8. He was driving on the F1’s not the RSA as you have. I’ve included his two threads about driving an SRT8 during winter conditions. He has since edited out his original post, but if you read further into the post you will see that someone has quoted him and those quotes will show his original words. Thought you might find it interesting as his experience is opposite of yours. I don’t worry about winter driving…so good luck!
