Hey Herbs bud! Amsoil….let’s see what we can find on that particular product. There are an absolute ton of posts dealing with Amsoil Oil products. In fact you may remember the now famous Oil battle threads mainly revolved around this particular brand of oil. Along with members who had smoke at start up and became highly offended during these “oil war” threads. Anyway..that’s all in the past. Through searches I’ve found just a couple of mentions about Amsoil Tranny fluid. Not much to go on, but I hope it helps!! Take care buddy!

I'm not sure about our transmission, but I know that past DCX trannys were very finicky when it came to fluid type. With this in mind, I would not vary from the recommended fluid ATF+4, which, BTW, is a synthetic. The good news is that you don't have to buy the Mopar ($$$) brand anymore. About a year ago, DCX licensed other companies to manufacture ATF+4. I use Valvoline ATF+4 in my Chrysler products.
