educational opportunity not fully taken advantage of

As I was being called back into a building I had just left, some guy was coming out. I gave the keys to my wife, already seated in the passenger seat, and was walking back inside. Well, the guy asks me "is that a real SRT or did you just buy the badge?" Well, of course I told him it was the real McCoy. He was extremely sceptical, believing that only chargers could be SRTs. Well, I'm trying to get back inside to see what the deal is, so I can get out of there for the weekend, but I quickly rattled off the four current vehicles that come in SRT8 form. He still wasn't satisfied, and asked whether it had the same engine as the Charger SRT8. I smiled and called out "6.1" as I disappeared through the door. The last thing I heard was my honey starting up my other honey, then the door closed behind me. The guys were gone when I came back out, but I hope that between my wife cranking her up and seeing the brembos between the "SRT" spokes on my wheels, they were convinced. I really, really wish I had been able to stay and further educate these poor ignorant savages on the superior culture known as the Street and Racing Technology Group.

That's funny since the 300C-SRT8 was the FIRST of the SRT8's, way before the Charger.

Are you sure your wife didn’t do smokey burnout doughnuts in the parking lot before leaving? That may have removed the crust from his eyes and lifted the fog of his dense brain. Most people dont even have a clue!!! I aways get nice HEMI!!! Even though I have a base. I use to say its the V6 then they would stare at me blankly so now I just say thanks and get on my way!!
