Incentives

Any body know if Chrysler is going to extend the $2000 SRT incentives into December?

They need to in order to get rid of the excessive inventory. So when are you going to finally pull the trigger on one of these bad boys? Do I hear a December marriage approaching?

Found one I like at a local dealer. Took it for a test drive and noticed a couple of things that kind of bothered me. The car had less than 50 miles on it and the brakes shimmied hard everytime you stepped on them. You could actually hear a thumping noise inside of the car that matched each shimmy. Three of the wheels were slightly damaged. The car has been sitting outside for months and has hard water rain drop stains in the glass and body paint. Worse problem was it was an 06 and the dealer still thought he could get premium money for it. I'm working on getting one...... we'll see what happens.

This doesn't sound good at all. I would recommend getting a different one, one that seems minty-fresh. Personally I wouldn't worry much about the hard water stains because I'm not so careful about washing her anyway. But the brake and wheel problems would steer me away from it -- what have those 50 miles been like?

I've had mine almost a year and it still seems minty-fresh. Don't get one that was abused.

Well I hope you find the one of your dreams because I know you’ve been looking for a long time. You can clay bar the hard water marks away, but those brakes sound scary! Good luck on your search!!

Hey guy's, I'm also getting close to pulling the trigger on one of these if I can find the right price.

I talked to a dealer SM today and he vaguely indicated that some type of incentive will be available next week. He told me that he could give me the $2000 through this weekend.

Chrysler just announced that they will give them $200 for every 2007 model car or truck that dealers take -- if they take the full number Chrysler has allotted them for November and December. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...611230406/1148
