SRT-8 bra

Any thoughts on installing a bra on my 300C SRT-8? I would only leave it on for trips across the desert here in AZ.

I personally am not a fan of bras on anything... lol

If you're going to be traveling through the desert I think a bra is an excellent idea to save you from paint chips.

Check out the 3M "Clear Bra of Death". It's basically invisible if you get a good install and watch how you wax it. A few people have it. Do a search for "clear bra" and you can get some pics and prices.

As long as it is only used for short trips and not a daily basis. They are fine.

I want to see a larger profile view of your 3CSRT. From your Avatar, it looks like the number 17 on the rear door and other smaller graphics on the rest of the side.

Please post a larger pic.

Thanks for the advice. That's exactly the kind of info I am looking for. The avatar photo is a joke thanks to my brother. He recently discovered the wonders of Photo Shop and thought my car would look better dressed out as a NASCAR racer. He's a Matt Kenseth fan, thus the number 17. I can't trust any photo he sends me now.

I can't say enough good about my "Clear Bra of Death" as they say! It has been a life saver...as in I don't have to kill the truck drivers that throw stones up on my ride!
Here is a post I made with pictures for another member and also a link to the site. Find a good qualified installer and you will be very happy and not worry about paint chips and scratches. Let us know what you decide to do and good luck!

avoid MOPAR bra

I bought a bra from the dealer for my Magnum SRT8. The bottom straps had to REALLY be stretched to reach the back of the fascia. It pulled the whole bottom of the bra out of kilter and then split it where the mesh meets the vinyl. I complained and they gave me another. Apparently they don't really have one that fits the MSRT8, because it's identical. I've tried to jury-rig it with little bungees for my trips from CA to AZ, but they don't really hold well.

I had a feeling it might be photo chopped. Still looks good. Welcome to the 3CF.

Here is a picture of a real (non-photo chopped) 300 C SRT race car.
