You dont have to let them keep the car. When the parts arrive they will call you.

Well I got the car back today

1. New tires and a new wheel had been put on

2. New slotted rotors and brake pads. Will try to get them Bedded (SP?) tomorrow

3. No fix available for my car hitting the REV Limiter between the 2nd and 3rd gear at WOT. According to Chrysler there is no fix for this at this time. Very frustrating!!!

4. They couldn't duplicate the ESP/ABS light coming on, told me to come back if it continues.

$2K worth of warrenty work done, plus a rental car for a day. I feel like the dealer did their part, just wish there was resolution to the shift issue.

My ESP/ ABS light has come on once or twice. I am waiting for it to come on when I have time to go straight to the dealer before I shut the car down

Like I stated earlier, mine went on one time about 3 days ago. I dropped the car off today and they pulled like 20 codes off of the computer. I dont know which ones but I will find out tomorrow, they are supposed to have a diagnosis mid morning.

Went to dealership today. For tranny leak, engine light, it came on when I was stuck, back and forth in 1st and rev. then the cruise went out. Still have warranty, fixed everything for nothing. Great dealership, just want $225 for oil change.

variability

It is sad and amazing that dealers vary so much. Like most here I have had more bad experiences than good.

Best advice is shop around. There are a few good ones and they deserve your business. I found out that DCX allows cross-warranty work, so almost any dealer can service your cars under warranty.

For sure. I didn't buy mine at the dealership where I took it in for service. No questions asked. They make a ton of money on service work. In most cases, more than on sales.

Lukeinva, apparently all of the existing tires on the car were out of round (defective), therefore unable to be balenced. In addition to that one of the wheels was bent/defective. They gave me 4 new tires ($320 each) and one new wheel. The vibration at 80 is now gone.
