Where to get wheels for SRT?

I just bought a 06 SRT8. The dealer said that I didn't have any wheel options. Due to the oversize rotors there are no aftermarket wheels available. I find that hard to believe. Any suggestions?

The dealer was telling you wrong. There are many wheel co. that make the correct offset for our bigger brembo calipers.

I went with U.S. Wheel

I was there beta tester, and made sure the proper spacing was in place for the brembo calipers.

This is the 22" x 9.5" USW D-Lux wheel, on my 3CSRT.

Then I took the wheels apart and painted the centers in Silver Steel and added the SRT letters to one of the 5 bars.

These are some of the other styles that USW is going to be offering to the public soon.

You can also go with 22" drop stars. Here is mine with DS02's in 22".

Welcome to the forums Paul and congratulations on purchasing one amazing ride! You’re going to love smiling all the time with that SRT8.

You’ve come to the right place. You will find these forums contain tons of valuable information that cuts through the lack of information provided by your dealer. Your dealer didn’t know what he was talking about. There are wheel options for your SRT8. Freebird has an amazing set up with his SRT8 and knows his wheels. So you’ve got some good advice.

I look forward to seeing some pictures of your ride.

Don't beat up the dealer yet - he may have been referring to 'off the shelf' rims and not expensive custom made to order rim like all those USW wheels. He was right to a point and time with his knowledge - Rim styles and choice have been very limited for SRT hence the quote from Freebird that all those styles will be available "to the public soon". That means you can not buy them yet.

Also go to The Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and Home - Discount Tire Direct for 'off the shelf' rims - still very limited IMO.

Not only are there plenty of aftermarket wheels available in 20" and larger diameters that will clear your "oversize" SRT8 rotors, there are even 18" wheels that will work (for winter tires). In fact, I have a StopTech big brake kit with 6-piston calipers and 380mm (15") rotors, and I just installed a set of 18" Borbet Type TS winter wheels.

As others have suggested, Tire Rack is a good place to start. They list 24 different 20" and larger wheel options as well as four different 18" wheels and two different 19" wheels. (Even more if you count painted vs chrome as two different wheel choices.) For wheels smaller than 20", you'll need to look at their "winter" packages.

The dealer did not know what he was talking about.
