Thanks guys, I am going to the dealer on monday morning to leave the car just to make sure that this is indeed what it is and then I will get them to fix it. I am adventerous but just don't have any time and would like the car back running by next weekend.
I will post if it is something other than the oring.

If they're worth their salt, and the leak is a result of the faulty o-ring, the dealer should have you in and out of there in under two hours.
Good luck and don't sweat it. I had mine done a few weeks ago and from what you're describing, it's more than likely the issue.
The O-ring at the top of the 5 speed transmission where the sensor goes in has been faulty on some cars (my 300C was one of them). Fluid loss is light, but you need to get the O-Ring replaced, the fluid checked and topped up or repaced as necessary.
There is the possibility that water can get in through this leaking area. If even a small amount of water enters, the transmission will behave erratically.
My 2006 300C leaked at 10,855 miles. They replaced the 13 pin connector seals and it is OK now. Regards, Bob.
I had the same thing happen to mine last week. The O-rings were shot at 8065 miles. They replaced them under warranty. You're not alone with this problem. Many posts on the subject thanks to the Cpl. and Danno. Get those fixed and enjoy your toy again.
It seems to only be happening with the C and SRT models. Both with Hemi's and MercBenz Tranny's.
I was wondering if any of our V6 owners/members have had any similar tranny issues happening to there 6's? Does the V6's not get the MercBenz engineering that we do with the C/SRT's? Thus no O-ring failure for the 6's, that we know of.

I just had the TSB done on my 06 "Touring". The #s on the Orings have changed since the thread I read about doing it yourself. I got the newest #s but don't remember what they were BUT the dealer knew exactly what I was referring to when I mentioned the leaking transmission TSB at the 13 pin connector.
Well I called the dealer I bought the car from today to tell them what was going on and that I needed to bring it in for this repair and they told me that it would be a week before they could fit me in so I told them to kiss my a$$ and I took the car to a dealer that is about 20min away and they took it right in and are supposed to call me in the morning to verify that it is the o-ring.
Why is it that once you have spent your money with a dealer they love to be bitches.....
