They said it was going to be a week….that’s ridiculous!! My service manager fits me in whenever I need to get in. He always says….”we take care of our SRT owners.” That’s nice to be told that. I hope you have very quick success (as this isn’t that difficult to fix) with your newest dealership! Let us know the final results.

They called me at about 10:00am and said that the car was ready. It indeed was the TSB fix that needed to be done, and so they fixed the leak around the sensor and now all is good. It is raining so I haven't been able to tell if there is still a leak but I will look tomorrow (I doubt there is).

So props to the "new" dealership and now I am back on the road again!!

Fantastic news! Glad it was “just” the O ring problem that has been snarking its way around this forum. Now you can get those flames rolling proudly down the street without a care. Glad the new dealership worked out for you…sounds like they may be a keeper.

My neighbor has a 06 300c (not srt8) he said he has a tranny leak. He said while driving along about 65mph, he let off the gas and felt the trans go "clunk" but everything else was fine.

He said he did not know how long it has been leaking but only noticed the red spot recently.

Do you think that "clunk" could be a result of low fluid?

I have no idea, but a trip to the dealership would be ASAP! Good luck! I’m watching my garage floor like a hawk now.

Either low fluid or a gear just got chewed
