We are using an MSD boosta pump converter. I was running out of fuel at 4500 rpms. The addition of MSD has allowed us to lower the secondary injectors while increasing voltage to the factory injectors for more fuel. Man, the system works great. Was very easy to install. Took me about 45 minutes total once I got the pinout from the fuelpump.

I was wondering about the same thing.

Way to go, 1bad4dr, and great numbers. Looks like you got that beast running just how you want it to run. Can't wait to run into you one day. What a great ride you've got there.

As for the dyno, just think what you would have made number wise around sea level? Yeah, Baby!

Way to go Scott and GSM!

Did they give you any indication on how tapped out your fuel pump was using this MSD unit? Just curious.

Actually the fuel pump can handle the delivery, but we need control over the PCM....... Once again another reason to have a tuner.

So I am sorry if I missed but how are you tuning this again as well? I asked the fuel pump question becuase with my superhcharger experience I have seen these applications with a boost a pump type setup work really well on the dyno and then fail on the street becuase the dyno can't seem to duplicate constant changes like heat and load when you are actually accelerating. If your fuel pump has more and is only running at like 70% capacity after the boost a pump setup on the dyno you would be generally fine but if it is running at 90 to 95% capacity you could run into trouble on the street. Just wondering. You might have a breakthrough here which would be great so we could make some progress on these supercharged applications...

Ah, I understand...... I "Think" the fuel pump is only running at aroun 75%, but don't hold me too that. Guess I need to ask some questions....

On the street the beast is actually running damn strong.... We did some high speed fly byes today on a not so trafficed road and I was very impressed with the speeds I got to from a stop to around the 3/4 mile mark..... 157.... We even had a radar gun onsite to comfirm speedo....

Tuning is done via splitsecond piggyback system. No PCM tuners are available....

Yeah- See if you can find out about that fuel pump. Do you run a wideband air fuel gauge on the car?

Absolutely........ I also have a boost gauge.

These two gauges are a must with FI.... First line warning system.

How are your numbers on the wideband? Do you have logging capability with it?
