i dont want to be the guy with the bad news but i tried the same jack. they sell the same one at harbor freight for 39.99. sounds like a great deal until you use the thing. the first one worked to raise one tire once, it blew all four fuses it came with. returned it , got a new one, this one raised and lowered one tire and lifted a second and never made it down. motor blew. tried a third time lifted one tire again and blew all the extra fuses it came with. returned and finally just got my money back. i bought it to change winter to summer rims and tires. i wouldnt rely on this for emergencies, IT IS JUNK! i went to murrays auto parts and bought the manual crank scissor for twenty bucks and it works great.

I got a Craftsman breaker bar and socket for about $30 (already had the extension), and now they have a permanent home in the trunk.

sspray, is that jack you bought lower than the one from Harbor Freight? They look the same. I was actually going to buy the one from Harbor Freight tonight.
dont buy it,COMPLETE JUNK!

Holy Crap you went through 3 of these things? That isn’t so good. Damn, I was hoping to have the ease and comfort of raising and lowering my car without to much exertion. (heaven forbid I break a sweat! ) Thanks for the heads up!

yea, the second one i would feather and try to raise a little and then give it a break. these things are made in china and are complete junk. they are just not up to the task. harbor freights good for a cheap tool your just gonna use once or twice then it breaks. thats why they are so incredibly inexpensive.
