Why Do The 5.7 And The 6.1 Take The Same Intake System Its Just Not Right

Why Did My Csrt8 Go Slower When I Took My Mopar Cai Off My 5.7 And Put It On My Csrt8.why Is The Stock Csrt8 Diameter On The Intake Arm 4inches And 5.7 3.25 Inches So Why Are All The Intake After Market Dealers Selling The Same Intake For Both Cars. Why Are All The Dyno Charts For Intake Horsepower Gains Are On 5.7 . I Dont Think Most These Intakes Can Show A Big Gain I Dont Think They Can Flow Enough Cfm's For The Csrt8. Someone Prove Me Wrong.

All I will say to you is put these words in a search on the forum --> AIRHAMMER. That will be more than enough proof for you.

Here is a thread that discusses the airhammer CAI. I’m sure others will chime in on your question. Hope it helps.

Yup . I can confirm too, the Mopar CAI for the 6.1 is a different part number and unit than for the 5.7.

NO ONE CAN SHOW ME THE DYNO CHARTS ON THE 6.1 ITS ALL HE SAY SHE SAY I KNOW THAT AIR HAMMER IS PROVEN FOR THE 5.7 BUT WHAT ABOUT THE 6.1. I KNOW THAT THERE IS TWO DIFFERENT PART NUMBERS ON THE MOPAR CAI THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE TWO IS THE LOCATION OF THE RECIRCULATION HOSE THATS IT. THE ARM IS THE SAME DIAMETER THE FILTER IS THE SAME SIZE. AND WHY WOULD YOU NEED A FILTER SO BIG THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO RELOCATE THE P/S FLUID. THE 6.1 ONLY NEEDS 600CFM IF THAT, THATS LIKE HAVING A 5 INCH EXHAUST FOR WHAT?
