Another one bites the dust

I'm interested in what cars you have killed off the line. I just had a guy in an Anniversary Edition Camaro SS try to take me at a red light. I tell you there is nothing like smoking someone that thinks they have the fastest car on the road. You get this pump of adrenaline that is unbelievable. Once I was about two car lengths ahead he let off and stopped trying.

I'm sure a lot of others get tried at the red lights. I would love to hear about some of your more memorable kills.

SRT8 baby!! Love it or hate it....by God...you better respect it!!

First off Zodiak welcome to the forums and congratulations on owning this amazing ride! Your described adrenaline rush is very well documented by many members. A memorable kill was one of my first…here is a transcript of the event.

I came upon an azzz driving a modified Mazda RX8. He decides to ride my rear bumper, pass, and then do a front shave. Not today dude. I just punched the beast down and passed him. He didn’t like this and the race was on. He remained at my rear door all the way to 145 then she just pulled away until he gave up. Later he caught up to me when we pulled back into town. He gave me double thumbs up, flashing lights, and horn. He wanted to talk to me so I pulled over. He was totally freaked out. The first thing out of his mouth was damn what do you have in her!! He had heard of the SRT8’s but didn’t think he would run into one out in the middle of BFE. It turns out he has a turbo charger on his car. I’m not all that familiar with those cars- so I don’t know what they can do. Oh, for those against street racing- this was done on a limited access four lane highway out in the middle of no where- and I mean no where. There was zero traffic.

Enjoy your beast and keep the posts rolling on!

THIS RACE MAKES SENSE. STOCK VS STOCK THE SRT-8 WOULD KILL, BUT A HIGHLY MODIFIED RX-8 WOULD GIVE THE SRT-8 A RUN FOR ITS MONEY.

AFTER ABOUT 130 TO 140 NO MORE TORQUE FROM TURBO CHARGED RX-8 MAKES ROTORY GO CRAZY LOL

This is why the dude had to track me down…he just couldn’t believe it. I guess he thought he was top dog on the road then. He was very cool and props to him for showing an interest in my car and not being a typical fly by azz.
Thanks for the info btw.

It seems like I am wishing for the light to change to red so I can see who lines up with me. I'm sure all of us have beat the ricecakes, but I would have to say my most memorable kill wasnt a car but an ass driving a Trailblazer SS. Needless to say I ate him up and spit him out. It's amazing..you place an SS on a car/truck and people think they are superman. I totally agree the SRT8 is a beast and it is a ton of fun.
