Well it wasnt really a kill, but more of an ass whopping.
Stopped at some traffic lights on a straight, very wide road. There were no other cars on the road at the time.. lucky i guess. My mate in his clubby rocks up next to me. We were off to work in the morning
This guy always brags about his car, and that it would slam my SRT8.. i dont know why he would think that, but this time i thought i would teach him a lesson. (clubby 255kw, SRT8 320plus!)
Well you kow the rest, thights went green, and goodbuy clubby!!! I slowed down at around 160/170 kph and he was a good 5-6 carlengths behind!!
What you think peoplez.. would you classify it as a kill?
Absolutely, but at 160/170 KM/H this speed takes a little while to reach and i was wondering what was happening in between. i.e did he initially pull away and then you caught up or was it just progressive movement away from him? Either way sounds like you had fun and thats the main thing!
An EASY kill!! As if a stock clubby would have a chance against an SRT8!! Your mate must be kidding himself if he reckons he was in with a chance.

ok, I give up. What's a clubby? Sorry, you guys have so many cool cars "down under".
But a kill is a kill. Congrats!

A "Clubby" is a Holden HSV Clubsport. Basically, HSV is to Holden what AMG is to Mercedes. Effectively a HSV (Holden Special Vehicles)Clubsport is a more extreme version of the standard V8 Holden Commodore. Has engine tweaks, body kit, different suspension and brakes etc, etc.... There is a huge market in after market mods for these cars and some of them can be seriously quick. The Pontiac GTO that you guys get over there is basically a 2 door Commodore (we call it the Monaro over here).
Hope that clears the air a bit!
