I have been looking for a good body shop to bring my SRT8 to get a new exhaust and some interior work done. Does anyone know of any in the Chicago suburbs?

Where is VVV? He is from the area and I believe he sent out a call for some shops to help with paint. Anyway…here are a couple of threads. Don’t know if they will help or not. There are plenty of members from that area so they may have something better. Good luck!

You are right Danno....Geneva Auto Body (In Batavia for whatever reason) is the place to go for paint.

Another member referred me to them and I'm a loyal customer now. Very reasonable prices and quality work.

There's a place out in Montgomery, IL called Distinctive Auto Body. They do great work and the owner is a down to earth guy. I'm actually going there this week to get my windows tinted 35% all around. I'm also going to have them paint my engine cover.

Just as an FYI, Sound Decision also in Montgomery is the best place to go for car audio. I just had them install my new Pioneer Head Unit and the results were better then expected.

Distinctive Auto Body. do yourself a favor, and dont let Derik paint anything you own.. I would say alot more but will hold my opinions to myself on this one.

As far as I am concerned, GERBER Auto Body in Buffalo Grove, but they have shops in several Chicago Burb locations.
