OK, so today i had to get some last minute Christmas shopping out of the way. Jumped in the SRT just knowing there would be some takers for sure. Come to a guy in a new mustang GT, he was only about 10 years older than time itself. A long shot but worth a try. I ride beside him a ways and speed up and slow down. He never flinches. DAMN.. oh well.. i make some stops at Kays and some other places. I get on the hwy headin home. WHAT... another brand damn new mustang GT. This guy was about in his mid 20s. I was ready for battle. I hit it, slow down and ride beside him for a bit. He looks over and speeds up just a bit, so i punch it and he lets out and i just keep going. WTF.. does no one wanna play with lil ol me?!?!

Word is spreading in the Mustang community...that "8" is one bad four door for sure! I'm sure you asked Santa for a few ricers, camaros and stangs to kill for Christmas lol If I know Santa he's kicked the reindeer power and has his own hemi and will be out look for a Kill lol
Be patient my friend…they all don’t know what is going on. I just came from a Christmas party and there was a dude there with a brand spanking new Mustang GT mouthing off about how hot his car was. We started to talk and he mentioned how the hemi wasn’t a bad car, just too big, slow and I believe he used the term an “older persons” car. Really I replied…have you ever been exposed to the “super Hemi” before. There is no such thing I was told. Really I replied….I just happen to have one out front. He had to check it out and of course I had to show him. He was pretty impressed...but I don't think it sunk in what this beast could do to him.
I swear if he hadn’t been drinking so much…..I would have mopped the back country roads with him. But I’m not into racing and drinking…and his lady had his keys. But one day…he will get the proper education he is so desperately in need of. So hang in there….there are plenty that have no idea what this beast can do.

danno, that's a great story. I admire you for your patience. I might have said, "put you bs where your mouth is." and then been in trouble with him crashing or whatever. You took the smooth road - and I love how you say he'll find out soon enough.

Thanks Moose I appreciate the kind remarks. We will meet up another day that much I’m sure of. He will find out just what this “old man’s” car will do to his big mouth.
Now back in the day…booze or no booze we would have gone for it. But not today. Way too much to lose and it’s just not worth it. I can chill and no need to ruffle my ego…because I know what I’ve got in the garage.

There is a reason the SRT4 is one of the most expensive cars to insure period. It has to do with the loose nuts behind the wheel. Twenty-somethings with lots of cheaply available horsepower in a tuna can = expensive accidents and medical bills. Too much testosterone and not enough brains. I can't imagine what I would have done with an SRT 10 years ago.
