I can't find any 0w40 and I want to change my oil this weekend. I can get Syntec 0w30 and was wondering if it would be OK, now that it's winter, with temperatures around -6C to -15C.
When it comes to oil I’m a total weenie and won’t do anything else but what’s recommended. I’m no expert, but I wouldn’t do it. You can’t find the stuff anywhere?

Oh, Lord, we pray together to you that thou shalt deliver us from all who doth oilspeak. Keep us well lubricated and let us not lie down with dino! Deliver us from cheap filtration!
AMEN!

Autozone and NAPA both have Mobil 1 0w40. If your local NAPA store doesn't carry it in stock they get nightly stock orders so they can have it the next day.
