Did it, done it, doin' it again tomorrow - my new srt8
Thanks to all on their assistance at finding deals on 2006 330C SRT8's. I found lots of deals to be had, then used that info to leverage my local dealer on a slow Saturday to cut a deal on a loaded up 2007.
Steel Blue, groups I and II, Kicker and sun roof.
Out the door from the dealer the same day.
The dealer still owes me a detail since we finished the deal after the service group had gone so pics will come after she gets cleaned up.
Next up window tint. If anyone knows a good shop in/around Nashville let me know.
My very initial thoughts, car is fast and drum tight. If it gets faster (as some suggest on here and other sites) as it breaks in and doesnt develop the creaks and moans of other larger cars I will be thrilled. This car is as fun (more fun?) as my recently departed and much loved Porsche Boxster S...!
Congratulations Hans on cinching the deal for your SRT8. It is much better to approach the dealership armed with tons of knowledge that this place is great for! Steel Blue is a beautiful color and I know everyone would love to see pictures of your beauty. You’re really going to love driving this car! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to post them.

Congrats! I'm not sure I'd want my dealer to detail (rather do it myself... or a reputable shop that specializes in detailing)... but hope it works out for you.
