Old News? Hagerty picks future collectible cars and guess what?
The only two American late model cars to make their list are the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Viper...
Viper's got limited production which assures it, and the 300 has got mass appeal which should land it a spot in collector's garages.
The '05 and '06's SRTs with old chin spoiler will prob be the hottest of the bunch. Does anyone keep low mls on their car with plans to hold onto it?

The rarest Hemi engine from any era is the 2005 6.1L Hemi. Only used in one car style (300C SRT-8), and only 200 public sale models made. 263 including DCX cars. Only 157 publicly available 2005 6.1L Hemi motors were available in the U.S..
whats the point of having a car if your not gonna drive it? if you wanna keep something to look at while it collects value buy stamps. srt8s are for writing your name on pavement. enjoy it while you can. thats just my opinion.

....which is why my car has 25,000 miles and my desk drawer is full of 1/4 mile slips.

Actually Ken this was posted last week. Your comment about the old style chin spoiler really got me to thinking how paranoid we need to be not to ruin it. (right jMatt!!!)

That is exactly why I traded in my SS on the SRT8. The SS had 9K miles, mint and had never seen rain. I couldnt properly enjoy the car...
exactly.. i mean i go to shows sometimes and see these beautifully immaculate cars that look like they just rolled out the showroom. then i see mine, clean, meticulously cared for, but with your everyday driver syndrome.. bugs, dust, etc.. and to me you cant beat it. that trailer queen of a car might as well be just a picture if your just gonna dust it off once a week and look at it. it just pains to see automotive perfection turn into a decoration piece instead of a speeding ticket machine.
