Inexpensive Oil Change For SRT8

We all know how expensive it is to have your oil changed at the dealer. So just wanted to share my experience with this matter.

I went to Pep Boys and bought 7 quarts of Mobil 1 0W40 and Mobile 1 oil filter. Took it to the dealer and had them change my oil. And it all cost me $65.24 I'm sure i cut the price in half by doing this and i highly recommend it if your using your dealer for oil changes.

Here's the brake down.

Pep Boys
$41.93 for 7 quarts of oil.
$10.99 for oil filter.
$ 4.37 CA Tax.
$57.29 total.

Chrysler Dealer
$5.20 Labor
$2.75 Disposal Fee
$7.95 total

$65.24 Grand Total

Keep in mind you could still save an additional $10.00 if you shop around for oil specials on the Sunday paper and buy a less expensive oil filter.
Damn!!! i feel like a tight mofo wile a type all this. O well, hope you find this useful in some way.

Another good alternative if you don't want to make multiple trips is Jiffy Lube. The Mobil One oil change was $75 with the AAA discount.
