Talking EXTREME-SRT8 & 1SRT8-2NV at the Track! Pics & Vids

Lots of fun today! Kind of chilly, but great track weather. I only got to make 3 passes.

The first one was TERRIBLE, lol, had a .979 reaction time and ran a 15.169 at 102.18mph... WOW, lol!! I punched it off the line and spun hard into first and wen it shifted to second and it was NO power, didn't pick up and start moving till the top of second. Take that as a lesson learned

edit: slip goes like this
RA - .979
60 ft - 2.28
1/8 - 10.260
1/8 - 77.77mph
1/4 - 15.169
1/4 - 102.18

The second run was better, i ran my bro in a TBSS. He ran a 13.6x in this one i believe. Went to turn the tires over and realized i had trac control on, got it off and staged up. .921 reaction time and ended up with a 13.458 at 105.83mph. Getting better! I had caught up and put a car on the TBSS by the quarter.

YouTube - SRT8 vs TBSS

RA - .921
60 ft - 2.186
1/8 - 8.789
1/8 - 83.24mph
1/4 - 13.458
1/4 - 105.83mph

The third race me and 1SRT8-2NV ran. I was sleepin at the light and he was ready to go, looks like i was in reverse out of the hole!! 1.028 reaction time ( ) 13.147 at 111.14mph against 1SRT8s 13.3xx @ 104.90mph. I was happy with this time. I think i could have got into the 12.9xx if i would have had one more pass and gotten a decent RA time. I was catching up on the big end!!

YouTube - SRT8 vs SRT8

RA - 1.028 (lol)
60 ft - 2.135
1/8 - 8.582
1/8 - 83.18mph
1/4 - 13.147
1/4 - 111.14mph

My reaction times SUCKED all day, i need more practice. Pics are below, Blakes paintjob is 10x better in person!

Nice runs, and great looking cars! Looks like you had lots of fun.

Quite a range in ETs, from 13.1 to 15.1. With practice your reaction times will get better. I know it's hard to resist the urge to go full throttle right away

lol I get the WOT from the green from my truck. It will spin on the street but on the track, it's stage up and when it's time, WideDamnOpen and it won't spin. Time to relearn it!!

Looking good on the track guys! Why were you able to reel 1SRT8-2NV in like that? Do fancy rims make that much of a difference? You 111mph trap speed may point to your mods paying off.

Some mighty fine looking rides you guys all have going down that track! I think you did a great job regardless of your times. The fact you went out with some buds and had a great time is what really matters. You’re getting better and better with all this practice you’re getting. I’m sure we will see even better numbers in the future. Thanks for sharing what looks like a great time!!

FYI - Do not wait for the green light to press the gas. Stomp on it when its on the 3rd yellow. Also have one foot on the brake and the other resting on the gas pedal. That should get your reaction times waayyy down. It worked for me...

See, that's a funny story, lol. In this particular race blake broke out, so i saw him go and it sidetracked me for a split second then by the time i realized it was go time

I love reading these posts. FYI i don't think your reaction time has anything to do with your e/t. It's more about your 60ft time, can you post the 60ft you all got. Good time's btw.
