Jeez....I remember Quicksilver well. I was following his s/c posts closely back in the day.

It saddens me to hear this and my prayers go out to you and your family.

I have known Ken since 1990. He was a very good friend and I've spent many days on the road with him.
As you know he was the president of MMATS Pro Audio and I purchased the very first amp in '91.
He and David Thompson fromed the company from a dream while both driving for UPS.
He built a very respectful business in our industry.
I just hung out with him at CES and have built show vehicles for him for 10 years.
I was shocked and will be attending his funeral.

R.I.P. Ken

ok,
most of you know I am not one to post here...
but Ken was cool...
I was bummed when he sold his 300C SRT8...
I am sick to my stomach reading about this and thinking of his widow now and his fatherless kids...

Dan G's post says nothing about a fund for his kids...
but of giving to others...
(some things never change with quicksilver)...
Dan G, please let us know that his children are financially ok...
if not, we need to set up a fund for them.
now.
quicksilver was one of the contributing family back in the day...

my thoughts go out to his family...
be careful all and enjoy life.
Sincerely,
Chris Butler
