SRT Track Experience

Ok, guys. It’s been over a week since the February event and I have yet to see any posts. Since this is a new program directed under the Richard Petty Driving School, I was hoping for some reviews by those of you who made the trip. I was out of the country or I would have had the pleasure of the “experience” myself first hand. But, when work calls…

So, is this program better than the one offered before? What changes have taken place? I thought I read a while back that Viper time was being minimized because of accidents. Are all SRT vehicles currently in production still offered for participants? Also, since I missed this event can anyone suggest a track (or two or three) that is especially good to drive on?

From what I remember posting, I certainly had a great time as did a few other forum members that were there. There were certain modules that some didn't particularly care for - I for one wasn't too impressed with the Viper drifting module but several other folks enjoyed it.

I think everyone enjoyed the performance driving course and especially am looking forward to receiving the DVD of that module.

We had some posts and pics from Justin (see dan’s link above) It sounded like there was some great camaraderie and friendly competition between teams. I thought it sounded like they had a good time. I didn’t read the posts from the LX forums or maybe I just dreamed that they had a nice time.
