SRT8 Beastin' On Dyno

Well I went to the dyno today. Thanks to the guys a CARTECH Performance in Davie, Fl. The car has a k&n drop in filter and a motorad 4127(176 degree thermo). The car was at 180 degrees when the runs were taken. I say that 388hp/388trq to the wheel ain't to shabby. Maybe this is why I want to race another M5 so bad!!! LoL

Those are some sick numbers.... assuming 17% drivetrain loss you're over the 450 range for HP and torque... nice!!!!

Nice numbers regardless, but those are not corrected numbers. Your real numbers could be considerably less.

Here's an example of one of my dyno runs. The first graph is uncorrected, or "STD." The second is corrected and reports "SAE" horspower.

STD showed 396. SAE showed 386.

(I'll have to post pics later - firewall).

nice but it's hard to compare without the sae correction factor applied and will probably be a bit lower when it is. too many ****ies on the m5 board to line up a race...so you may have to find (another) one on your own.

Sure do know how to rain on a brothers parade!!! LoL Anyways here is the corrected dyno sheet. Still great numbers for a dyno done in south florida. I wish I had a chance to do the test in 45 degree weather.

Those are still very respectable numbers for your car. The cool days we have in south Florida are few at best. It won’t be much longer when the humidity kicks in and the temps soar. Thanks for sharing your dyno run with us!
