thats cool you got your srt8. im pretty new to this site, i just purchased my srt8 5 days ago at the chrysler used car dealership. i actually came uppon a GREAT deal though. there are left over 06's from chrysler that dealerships dont want here in indianapolis soo chrysler was puttin them through used car auctions here in indy. i bought my brand new 06 srt8 with only 45 miles on it for $34,900. it came fully loaded except for the rear dvd player! just i bought it used and not new.

First and foremost - congrats, awesome. I have black as well and love it, but I agree you do have to keep it clean. I also notice a gap with my front doors, but only when positioned almost directly behind the car. I can see the door sticker inside if at the right angle. Like you this bothered me at the start, but now, I dont really notice (i.e. ive gotten over it and its no big deal). The car is great. I love it and I'm sure you will too. It is really a sweet ride. Enjoy!

Sorry, just saw this. I just re-read the pdf version of it two days ago and it's 7/70 not 7/100. Regardless it was a good deal. I got it from my selling dealer.

Thumbs up

Sincere congrats on your new Monster Hemi acquisition. I just bought my SS SRT8 two days ago, and am loving it. I'm sure many happy days ahead for both of us with one of the best cars on the road. I got mine fully loaded for 36K w/7000 miles on it. Best deal in Wa. state I could find.

Congrats on your purchase as well wbglider.

Oh yeah finally I got my HealeyRick 21 Banana Salute!! Woot!!!

Funny thing is I started modding the car the day after I got it. LOL
I had parts bought months in advance before. Haha, I am a nut like most in here.

Right now after I get everything I have installed, I am thinking of KW2s, Hotchkis sways, 22" 3 Piece forged Wheels, and a Stage 2 HHP polished heads/cam and etc upgrade or some type of stroker package (big engine upgrade probably after I get beat badly by some monster out there) will in the distance future. This is really getting expensive, and I thought the carbon fiber pieces were expensive.. phew!!

Now someday I will need to take pics of all these mods I have already and post em in the media section or the SRT8 section.
