Do I qualify as an SRT8 Ambassador?

I love these cars. Especially the 300SRT8 in my garage. But because of my passion I have directed two people to purchase this car in the last two weeks. A new friend in Chicago purchased a twin of my Silver beast and one of my co workers dumped his A6 for a Steel Silver. They both have huge smiles!

I had a neighbor drive the Magnum to see if it would suffice as a replacement to her 540 Wagon. She liked it but the seats were too low. I said buy aftermarket or have brackets made. Jury is still out on that one.

But after, "passing the passion" along do I qualify as an SRT ambassador? I think Danno and JMatt may have that status and I must pass several more Jedi tests.

Drive on my friends. Drive on!

You're well on your way Padiwon. (sp?)

In the early days I probably sold about 6. Wait....don't I qualify as pushing you over the edge too?

That you did! By the way, did my most important mod tonight. Put my FOP Associate member emblem next to my license plate.

If the weather keeps up we may have to have an Indy SRT round up.

Then under the Amway system, I get credit for your sales, too - right?

RE: Track day: I called and talked to Indy Raceway Park today. I need some tires though.

Nitto better come through in the next 14 days, or I'm going with Goodyear F-1 again.

No Grunt - we thank you!! Remember my car coming down the line?

The heck with Daimler. MB had the worst initial quality of all in a recent list. It's Chrysler that doesn't need Daimler. Brampton is a world class mfg facility, and the whole world knows it!

Forge on. Get them sold!! But encourage sticker price so our residual value will increase a bit.

And thanks to you and everyone at Brampton, Grunt! Just saw your sig on JohnnyVig's battery over the weekend. Great stuff.

I have over 20K miles on my MSRT8 and wanted to say thank you to you and all of the crew up there in Canada. Keep up the good work! You and the others were such a great help when we were waiting on our beasts to be made.

OH3Cobra,
Many of us here came from e39 540s, I had a 99 540iT and loved it. I know you said the seats were too low, did you move the pedals for her? Just thought it might help.

By all means you qualify! Most of the members that own a SRT8 are right there with you as many extol its virtues far and wide. The car literally sells itself. If you can get someone behind the wheel that appreciates a high performance rear wheel sedan…..they’ll be knocking down the doors to buy one. Obviously there is no financial gain to be had from this (except in JMatt’s multi-marketing scheme he is cooking up ) but a real altruistic need to share with others.

BTW…Grunt you and others are responsible for building these magnificent machines….so major kudos to you for a job well done!
I’ve heard an interesting rumor that Rambit has sealed his 05 in a giant zip lock baggie in order to capture your signature and actual cologne you were wearing when you built his car. Something to do with authenticity and Barrett- Jackson
