Got a compliment from a C6 Z06 driver...

A gentleman driving a C6 Z06 (yellow, of course) pulled up next to me in traffic and said he really liked my car. I was dumbfounded! I guess it makes sense that someone driving a Z06 would appreciate fast cars, but still didn't expect a compliment from someone driving a car at that level. Very cool!

There was no where to pull off the road, or I would have flagged him over so I could get a closer look at his ride.

I just traded my 03 ZO6 last week and picked up a Black SRT. While the Z was my 4th C5 (love those cars), this SRT is a whole different world, love it just as much!

I honestly can't blame him.. these cars have a style all there own. A Z06 is nice, but Corvette has had the same style for so many years. The 300, and especially the CSRT8 is something new to look at.. a fresh look. Style and the power to compliment it.

Ultimate complement. I love any car person who's not atuck on themselves just because their sticker says their's cost more.

I've done the same while driving my C6. I pretty much don't care what nameplate is on a car, if it's a nice ride then.... it's a nice ride! I've even given Viper owners a wave or thumbs up while driving that car. Just don't tell any other Vette owners

Nice props from the Vette dude. It’s cool to appreciate performance cars without an attitude. Hope to meet up with similar types in the travels.

I dont think this is uncommon- there are MANY high-end sports car guys driving daily aro in SRT8s...

Interesting that you chose the term "gentleman"... is that because he had a suit on? Or a bow tie?
