Yes, it is my friend!! Drove it home this morning. Hard to see the SS go but driving the SRT is absolutely amazing. I don't have one regret. Thanks to everyone for lending your supportive comments.

Notyet- It's black. I told myself I'd never buy another black car till I saw this one.

I will do my best to post some pics by the weekend. I'm happy to belong to the new group. Here's to years of talking cars and making the best of it!

Cue the bananas!!! Excuse me while I change my signature and information!!

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. See, I told you Wednesday was the best day to buy a car!!!!!!!

I'll wait for HR to give you the proper 21 banana salute. Black is BEST. Tell yourself that every weekend during your multi-hour detailing sessions when you're cursing yourself for buying black. hehehehe

I can't wait to see pics!! Again, CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, all. I am really happy with it. I was telling the detailers at the shop that now I have to go back to the old "black car" cleanliness etiquette...no hands on the car, close doors by the edges, daily wipe-downs, etc. It is ALL GOOD!!! Thanks for the comments. I'll be checking in later.

don't forget "closing the trunk by pulling the INSIDE handle". no fingerprints on the trunk lid or rear panel.

Congrats!! Best of luck with it.

Yesterday I logged about 180 miles going to work and the track and back. Today I had off and logged about 90 miles. Weather has been in the 60s / 70s (actually, low 80s at some points) yesterday and today so I just found myself driving around. It was especially nice because I spent about 8 hours last weekend doing some detailing and finally got to drive my car for pleasure while it was clean. The point to all this is that even after 14 months and 14,800 miles, I'm still loving it the same as when I picked it up.

Tough to give up that SS I'm sure but at least you gave it up for the SRT-8. I can relate. I had a '99 NBM M6. Was just looking at pics of it the other day and admiring it. But I wouldn't go back....

Enjoy!!!!!!!
