Maybe get some LED bulbs? I installed some yesterday and they seemed brighter to me. Check out autolumination and get the tower II LEDs.

I second the tower II LED bulbs from autolumination.com, but don't forget to get red instead of white (they'll be brighter). I put them in after getting my tails tinted and they made a big difference, but they're not cheap.

no just the top and bottom one, get the turns yellow... I'm not sure if you should go LED for the backups or not, some other members have used a higher wattage bulb, but becareful if you leave your car in reverse for too long, you'll melt the socket.

I think there is a post of conversion #'s in here somewhere.
I also used the Silverstar turn signal bulbs, very bright when lit but blueish when off.

I got the red tower II LED bulbs (2 per side), 50 Watt halogen reverse lights from PepBoys, and chromed turn signal bulbs from StealthAuto (chrome when off, orange when lit). LED reverse bulbs are not all that bright and if you use LED bulbs for your turn signals you will have to install load equalizers/balancers due to the flashing.
