Evic

Does anyone know if you can set the EVIC to show the SRT8 logo that comes up when you start the car to be up all the time?

Don't know that I've heard of anyone doing it. Doesn't mean it can't be done though.

I don't have a clue as to how it would be done, but g'luck!!!!

I’ve not heard of this either. I know people have hacked the nav system, but I don’t think the EVIC has been hacked. There was an attempt that was shut down. You can read in his description of the project that he proposed changes in the EVIC display. As I said it was officially shut down. So I doubt you'll find anything like this available at this time. Sorry.

One of the EVIC options I thought would be very nice was Tranny Temp. I asked if it was possible during an SRT Engineer Chat. And they said yes totally possible. But it would take a reprograming of the EVIC software ... so they said don't expect it. They said something like "We provide what we think most customers will find useful" Damm I think Tranny Temp is very useful. But then ofcourse this would mean you could check your Tranny Fluid yourself. And we wouldn't want to have that .... how are the dealers going to make any money!!
