not quite true, SRT has a 215 mm ring gear with a 3.06 ratio. I believe the unit is from the last generation E55. My diff actually came with a "made in Germany" tag on it!

My car dynoed 369?? if I remember. I'd be interested in knowing your results, if you have them.
You didn't hear me well. That time was run over a year ago, and I can't find my **** from yesterday, much less that particular time slip! My 60 ft. was very close to 2 seconds, not good at all if my memory serves me correctly. And I ran at Bradenton. If you noted the MPH, I should run much quicker with some traction and a better launch!

I don't respect the whole dyno thing, as it is only relevant to the same dyno, same conditions, etc. A great tool for comparison by an individual owner who understand the variables and wants to compare his numbers, but completely useless across country!

And again I remind you that several members have posted far better times than me. My vehicle is very strong, and runs well because I drive it hard and maintain it carefully. But the quarter mile is only one small indication of its performance.

You're right, I didn't 'hear' you at all. Sorry you have no use for dyno results. Unless you want to beat the hell out of your car at the track alot, a little dyno time can be a big help. Sure, they are different dyno to dyno, but you can still get the big picture. In any case, I only used my dyno figures to illustrate to you one thing: you must have a bunch more torque than I do for whatever reason. It's certainly not because you drive your car harder! I only have 4k miles on mine, perhaps its a bit tight for now. I don't believe everything I read on here either. Lots of others have quicker ETs/MPH than you? Doubtful that they are bone stock. MT magazine reported 13.20's for one test. If our POS track could hook a car up 75%, I would have gotten close to that. I hope I can get my car to 110MPH one of these days, but its not likely until they rebuild our track here. Lastly, I can appreciate all aspects of the car's capability, but as a drag racer thats my primary focus. Lucky you anyway! Bradenton is the nicest track I've been to South of Orlando!

FOr what it's worth: 1.95 - 2.00 60 foot times easily get stock SRT-8's to the end of a 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds at 106 - 108 mph.

I personaly have at least 30 such runs.

Same here JMatt. 3 runs in a row, all 2.00+ at 106 (I think). People are on here stating 1.70 with the F1's....yeaaaaaaahhhhh.

I don't think F-1's will get us to 1.70 seconds, but I didn't recall anyone saying they got 1.70 seconds either?

I'll admit I may have missed a post though.

I have seen a post or two with the stock rubber, listing those short times on other threads. But then again, there are loads of amateurs on here that think intakes, chips, tires, etc. are "stock".
