We now have 2 srt-8's in my family!

Well, as some of you know, i bought my srt8 last week in the dallas area. absolutely love the car (even though it's been in the shop for 5 days). So....i go to my sisters house two days ago and tell the family of our new purchase, a 2006 brilliant black srt-8 loaded to the gills with every option except the rear dvd. well my sisters husband says that hes been wanting one for a while. I tell him he's in luck because the dealership i bought mine from had one more and it was exactly like mine except it had every option including rear dvd. I told him about the awesome experience i had with buying mine and he says he wants to go to the dealership the next day. Next day rolls around, we both head out there on his lunch break. We test drive the car and he says hes going to buy it! We get back to the dealership and proceed with the paperwork, he also gets the 0% like i did and the dealership also threw in the free tint. (he opted to get 20% all the way around and i got the 15% all the way around) i also found out i get $100 for bringing him in! So the dealership and salesman made out pretty good selling both of their last srt8's in a week. Oh, and the other difference in the cars is mine has the f1 tires and his has the rsa's. the dealership also sent us two packages of homemade cookies that were delicious. nice touch. anyway, i just wanted to post because im ecstatic about having two beautiful srt8's in the family! i will post pics next week of my two rides and try to get some of both the srt8's together.

how cool is that. that tells you what great cars these really are. welcome him to the dark side!

the ONLY thing better would be if YOU had two! i'm seriously looking at a Charger SRT/8 for my wife's car to compliment my CSRT/8. She drives and Expedition now I told her the Charger is not a replacement, but, an addition. We'll see...

Yep, my wife had an expedition, we sold it and bought the srt8. now we get to split time with the h2 and the srt8. i always drove the h2 because i didnt want to drive the expedition. now we share both rides! as much as id love to personally own two srt8's, we want to keep the h2 for when we have a baby. whoever is driving with the baby that day will be driving the h2. plus i just got it modded to the way i want. you'll see pics of them both next week. i think most will like the look of it, even you dont like h2's.

H2SRT8 first of all welcome to the boards and congrats on your new beast. I am coming up on my 2nd year birthday of having my BB CSRT8 and I love to drive it like the first day I got it. It's quite funny that I originally wanted to get a H2. My dad has one and I was going to get one also but fell in love with the 300 line and when I found out about the SRT8....I had to have one! I don't regret it! And Again Welcome and Congrats!

Ditto...two in the family! My Dad had to drop his 300m and follow my lead just months after i got mine!

Now he's trailing me and my mods by first taken off the side mouldings, extra SRT badges, TSB(rotor,1-2,brake), got limo tint, and 275/40/20 Toyo Proxe 4's! He still can't keep up cuz i have my AFE Stage 2, GSM fan mod, 180 thermo, clear sidemarkers, and hopefully soon to be SLP EXHAUST!

He's got some catching up to do!

Now looks like YOU might be beginning a newborn "Mod Face Off"

PICS PICS PICS!!!

In this particular case, two is ALWAYS better than one!
