Agreed, thats a nice thing about how they work. Since part of thier charter is that they make money (not a lot, but must turn a profit) with every car, they have a good case for staying alive. If they were soley a halo car and lost money, then any corporate whim could kill them.

I can tell you this as a member if the investment community. Tyically after a purchase the new managers cut costs to the bone and things like an SRT team would be looked at more like a Marketing Luxury than ecconomic reality. Remember these decisions are made by ivy league jack asses that ride a train or in the back of an Crown Vic to work every day.

Remember Iacocca saved chrysler the first time with K cars and minivans...Not Hemi cudda's

The good news is our cars become collector cars in 20yrs.

This is what I was thinking too. All the more reason to stop sticking woodgrain overlays on the dash and selling your awesome SRT8 wheels.
