Indy Raceway Park details for tonight's drag races

For anyone on the fence about showing up:

Gates open at 4:30 (all times eastern daylight time).
Racing starts at 5:30

Gates stay open until 10:00 - so if you're thinking of driving in but can't get here real early - don't worry about it.

Racing continues until midnight.

Apparently there's a burnout contest and loud stereo contest going on tonight as well. I think all the money is going to charity tonight. It's a whopping $15.

We may have as many as 8 SRT-8's already committed to coming, so it should be some great comraderie.

Any of you in Chicagoland, Cincinatti, Louisville, etc, could all get in a full day of work, drive a couple, three hours, and still have a blast!!!!

Oh - and we're not like some of the super crowded tracks in California. You'll likely be able to run as many times as you want. Also, IRP is the home of the NHRA U.S. Nationals drag races each year. To say this facility is top notch would be an understatement. You'll never race on a better track than this one.
