Help needed from recent 07 srt8 owners

What is listed on your window sticker for lights in the exterior features section? Mine says smartbeams.

Does this mean I have smartbeams in addition to HID or just smartbeams?
How can I confirm if I have HID's? I am wondering if this has anythng to do with me not having the headlight washer unit as well?

Maybe I do have HID's and the smartbeam is something new to new srt8's? Can someone confirm that has purchased one within the last few months?

Date manufacture on door says 3/07.

Are you sure about not having headlight washer nozzles??? This is new to me.

In '05 and '06 headlight washers and HID's are standard. You cannot change that no matter what.

Smartbeams, from what I remember, are the highbeams that have a sensor to detect light up ahead and turn them on/off accordingly.

i have my window sticker in the car goherd, ill check for you when i run outside on break later. as far as i can remember, mine was listed as "smartbeam delete" but i definitley DO have HIDs. as well as washers.

as far as confirming if you have HIDs, you can basically tell. if you turn on your headlights and they start out relatively blue, and then get whiter, you have HIDs. also if they have a very sharp cutoff of light when turned on, you can see they are HIDs.

Yeah I don't care so much about not having the headlamp washer, but am still unsure if I have HID. I am sure I do, but am getting a lil paranoid since I don't have the washer. Plus when I looked at the sticker head said smartbeams and nothing about HID. I am almost positive I have but unsure. How can I tell (sorry never had a car with them)? I do notice when I unlock the door they kind of flicker super quick and the color is a real cool light blue. It's coming from a very small light on the outmost corner of the headlamp.

Take us a photo if you can, easy to tell by looking at them. The HID's are not bulbs, they do look like a beam and shine bluish right when you turn them on. They are about an inch or two wide.

Have you seen the smart beams work….like automatically dim your lights for you? With HID’s I rarely use my high beams. In fact people flash their brights at me periodically because they mistake my HID’s for high beams. Of course I have to blind them to prove otherwise.
