Question Baptism By Burnout

After having the car just a few day shy of a month, and with 2515 miles on the clock, I decided to try some burnouts.

My first try was with ESP totally enabled. We know that don't work but I just wanted to try it and see.

Second try was with ESP partially disabled. Two nice smokin' stripes left.

Third try was with ESP totally disabled (hold ESP button until EVIC says ESP disabled) and now I'm confused. The car reacted just like ESP was totally enabled. I expected it to be more like the second run.

WTF? Anybody know why I got this result? Is it normal?

TIA.

What Ultimate said. Or... Your tired got real sticky after the first two tries. Let them cool a bit and try the total burnout first.

Thanks, Mike. I guess I'll have to go try that again.

Ahbizmal, I think I goofed in my first post. I tried totally enabled with the expected result, then went to totally disabled for the second try. I may have held the button too long as Mike indicated.

In any event, I'm going to try totally disabled for the first try and make sure the ESP disabled light & EVIC "ESP Disabled" display are showing.

I wuz kinda lookin around before I launched to make sure there were no law officers around!

I'll report back after I do the deed(s) and wipe the rubber off the lower rear quarters. ;-)

I agree with that ^^
