Lower spoiler

Having had the lower spoiler fall away and also damage the entire front end.... I finally had an insurance agent look everything over. We agreed that the cause was a very steep driveway entrance to a main road here.

Anyway, long story short.... they are going to cover the claim. I had the 2 piece front end. Now I will have a one piece.

The lower spoiler of the original front end was full of initials and dates.... I would assume that these were the builders of my car..... does anyone know? I will keep the orginal front spoiler because this is something I think is way too cool, and I would never have known it was there, hadthe spoiler not fallen off....... I wonder if they designed them that way so that we could eventually see the initials when it failed....... Just kidding...

BTW anyone needing the front end of a 2006 silver 300srt8 without the lower spoiler, contact me, it is unaltered, and as far as I can tell undamaged.

When it happens to you SRT4life8, you'll have to replace the entire front facia. Mid-06 and below are the only ones to have a 2 piece front facia. Yours is a one piece.

well.. both. bad cause you have to replace the whole valance, good because finding a lower part of the 2 piece valance is like striking oil.

I could be wrong about this (and someone will correct me) but I think the new one piece facia costs near the same as what the now-extint, lower chin spoiler used to cost.

Now just find the old price for the lower chin spoiler. I'm pretty sure it was in that price neighborhood!
