Adaptive cruise control?

I thought i had read when shopping for my car that the SRT8/300C had an adaptive cruise control that is supposed to monitor the car ahead of you and adjust your speed. What happened? I saw it in the showroom literature and online. Its pg 11 of the brochure.
When did it become available?

I may be wrong, but I don't believe it ever made it into 2007 models. It is listed as a feature for 2008 models though.

ResumeSpeed did have it first mentioned for 2007, but moved to 2008. Here is a link that discusses ACC.

Yup, never made it onto the '07s. Supposedly will be on '08s but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets scrapped all together.

Here was a great site I used to monitor production delays for my '07. https://www.wheels.com/fleet/referen...mbly_lines.asp

I ordered in Dec. 06. At that time, the SRT/DG was listed as delayed as well as the adaptive cruise control. The site was pretty accurate - as its how I found out the SRT/DG finally started production.
