Congratulations on the great dealership! Glad to hear they’re going to fix you up! Maroone seems to be a good one as I’ve heard others say good things. Now the one I’ve not heard good things about was Arrigo Dodge in WPB.

Mine's pretty good...but also pretty standard in some ways. I do know for a fact that they won't install aftermarket brake pads or braided steel brakelines!

What's up with that? <G>

under what guise are the paying for it? generally, even though my buddy runs the dealer - if i go in to him and say "hey uhhhhh i screwed up my paint with a porter cable buffer and some polishing compound" he'd say "man that sucks...good luck with getting it repaired" lol...

Heres my guess. Most dealers have guys that come by and do things like bumper repair, scratch repair etc... Some of them are pretty good. All of them are WAY cheaper then the dealer can get it's own body shop to do the work. Since by the picture it doesn't seem as though the paint is damaged, most likely these guys have a very good contractor that is going to come in and re-clear coat this part, then give it a buff job. Probably charge the dealer about a buck fitty, thats a small price to pay for the customer for life they just gained. Good deal and it's good that some dealers still embrace customer satisfaction.

Nope..spoke to Sevice Director today as to when I can expect to bring in and he said that the have there own bodyshop and are a bit swamped. They are going to repaint and reclear entire hood.

Regardless since the dealership is doing the work and it will all be documented...if I have issues down the road with the paint/clear on the hood I can bring back to them.

PS - The paint IS damaged.
