Talking I am proud of my big booty 3CSRT8

Today driving on the 3 lane service road around 9:30PM I got to have a little fun with an EVO. He was cruising along around 45ish and I pulled beside him. I gave it a little gas to entice him and let up. Didn't take much convincing as he punched it. I heard Psst and the sound of a turbo spooling. Just cruising along I was in drive and he took immediately as I was letting off. Of course he got the jump but the 6.1 started reeling him in and I started pulling him pretty good.

Now I will admit that he won the crazy race as I decided to let up at 120ish and started seeing cars coming up quickly. I braked and he kept flying through the cars. I guess that is where being older with kids and a wife have me giving second thoughts to being a complete dumbass. I had fun and it was the first real run since I demolished an SRT4.

It is nice to know I can beat or hange with most things on the road with the windows and sunroof open, Kicker sound system blasting and the AC on high since it is in the 90s. Also makes me wonder when I realized that I was not invincable. Several years ago I know I would have not let up and stayed in the lead. Chalk it up to lessons learned and I love my SRT8.

Sorry for the long post!

It's always OK to have a sensible taste of racing rush on the road!
