Need help quickly on this PLEASE!

I have an opportunity to trade in my '05 300C with over 51K on the odometer for an '06 300C SRT8 with around 8K on it.

still working on the deal but PLEASE i need your quys opinions, so far this is the deal but I want to get this done today if possible.

2006 SRT8 300C NO nav/No DVD/No sunroof 8K mi
they want $32,800 for the car, they will give me $19,000 for my trade in. That was last evening. We are going to go back today because I told them to get me more money for my trade in.

Is $32,800 a good price for that SRT? I'm thinking about holding out for $31,500 or at the highest $32,000.

srt with no options - that's about right - seems a LITTLE high you should be able to get them down around 31, remember that completely unloaded the car was only 39 NEW. (I think....) and there were 4k$ rebates on them, if it were fully loaded i'd buy it for 32, but not a "stripper" model like that. (still a nicely loaded car though)

Do what makes you happy. Not sure what the going rate for a used '06 SRT is, but that seems just a slight bit on the high side. If you can afford the payments and you can live w/ no nav, DVD, or sunroof...well...get 'er done.

G'luck.

Thanks so much. I think I'm going to offer $30,500 and if they say no, i'm going to just walk and wait till another one comes along.

well, look you can find fully loaded used SRTs for 34... whch is well worth it for all the extra stuff.... make sure you are getting all the money for your car, get some other appraisals, head to carmaxx and see what they'll pay you as well.

Slow down and don't feel pressured to do the deal. That's almost $4K of options you are not getting on the car, and it seems fully loaded 06's are out there for around $36K with <100 miles. Can you live without those options?

Like zmw said, go get a quote from Carmax and see what they'll offer to buy the car for. Then you'll know if they are giving you a good deal on the trade which effectively reduces the price of the SRT8.

They might be willing to do a better deal on June 30th as well.

I'd say no way to the deal. You could probably find a stripped one for close to $32 new since I have seen the Nav/kicker/rear dvd 06s new going for 36K. Even at $30k is a used one worth it? You get better service and warranty coverage on a new one.
