Just checked my EVIC this morning, 7000 miles and 14.9 MPG average. I drive 8 miles to work in city traffic, AFE Stage II only performance mod, stomp on it ocassionally - well, probably at least once each trip to work and back.

I do mostly local driving and have been averaging in the mid-high 13's. And I do love to mash the pedal from time to time.....OK, fairly often to be honest. My previous 300C AWD got low-mid 12's. It's funny that I paid the gas guzzler tax on the SRT-8 and not the C.

Sorry to hijack here, but how has your experience with the AFE been? Do you notice any better performance with it? How about gas milage? Is the sound everything you wanted it to be? Mine is coming on Monday & I'm wondering what to expect.

i get between 15 and 16...i dont think im driving this car hard enough, haha. its about 8 miles to work for me, half on the highway and half on semi-highway. i do tend to punch it a lot on the highway and just to play around at stoplights.

however when i was using the autostick a lot, i did see a drop into the 14s, high 13s. i guess this is how most of you are driving

I would say the MSRT8 is averaging about 15 +/-1 in local driving. Haven't had it on a really long, full tank type drive yet (gonna get that opportunity starting next Wed. afternoon). However, I did register 22.1 mpg on the EVIC after a 115 mile drive home from a fill up near Columbus Airport, so I'd guess I'll do 21+ on the road.

Only "performance mods" are 180 Tstat, Air Hammer, AcesIV Fuel Catalyst, and 12.5W40 specialty synthetic oil.
